Who are the Widow's Sons?
The Widow's Sons are an international Masonic motorcycle association comprised of Freemasons, their friends, and family members. The purpose of the Widow's Sons is to provide a social and fraternal outlet for Freemasons who ride and desire to socialize with and travel the open roads with their brethren. Our goals are to:
While we wear identifying patches or regalia, the Widow's Sons are not a gang, MC, or 1% club. We are required to represent the fraternity in a positive light at all times. The Widow's Sons serve as a Masonic "booster club" by helping to raise Masonic awareness through attending public motorcycling events, and by supporting our Blue Lodges in whatever capacity we are able. Widow's Sons chapters have helped increase Masonic membership through our presence and visibility during public motorcycle events and rallies. Please view our calendar to see some of the events we will be participating in. Who are the Overseers? While we are all part of the same international Widow's Sons association, many states have a local Grand Chapter (the first Widow's Sons chapter in the state) and one or more associate chapters (additional Widow's Sons chapters throughout the state). We are the Overseers chapter, an associate chapter based in Kokomo, Indiana. How do I join the Widow's Sons? To join the Widow's Sons, you must be a Master Mason in good standing and must have a motorcycle with at least a 500cc displacement. If you would like to participate with the Overseers chapter, contact our chapter secretary using our Contact Us page. If you would like to contact another chapter in Indiana, visit the Indiana Widows Sons chapters page for contact information.
